At BE we expose underrepresented groups to emerging and exponential technologies, provide mentorship, industry experience that will foster successful careers in diversity-challenged companies/industries.

Technology Foundation.

The BE program provides enrolled individuals with a solid foundation in an emerging or exponential technology of their choice: Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Security, Cloud. At BE we constantly review the Technology landscape to ensure our enrollees have access to high in-demand technologies. Our technology foundation is based on market needs and demand.

Industry Orientation.

Once students have matriculated from the technology foundation, they select an industry that they desire to have a career in. Students get oriented to the industry: Opportunities, challenges, problems to solve in the industry, industry leaders, products, services, competitors. Orientation is provided by an industry subject matter expert.

Mentorship.

At this stage in the program, each student is paired with a mentor (industry SME). The mentor will provide guidance on how to: excel in the workplace to become a future leader, collaborate/working in teams, individual branding, building a network, selling ideas in a company.

Hands-on Experience.

The team project phase is an opportunity for students to tackle real-world, industry-specific challenges. In a controlled environment, students will work in teams, leveraging technology to address identified challenges. This hands-on experience and teamwork is a differentiator amongst new hires.

Job Placement.

Once students have completed the BE program, we work to get them placed in a leading company or organization.
